Originally from Richmond, Va., Michelle Snider came to Winston Salem to attend Piedmont International University in 2002. She graduated from Piedmont and High Point University in 2006 with Bachelor’s degrees in English Education. Upon graduation, Michelle began working at Salem Baptist Christian School in Winston Salem. At Salem, she taught Freshman Writing, 11th and 12th grade English, and AP English. During that time, she also completed a Master’s degree in Religious Education at Liberty University and a Master’s degree in English at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. Michelle believes that composition and literature are both tools God has given us to use in His service, and is dedicated to teaching students how to use both effectively.
